Emma Kulow is an investor at AccelR8 Ventures, an early-stage VC fund that invests in innovative, physical technologies to help incumbent emitters transition to a decarbonized economy. In this role, she sources and diligences technologies that mitigate material greenhouse gases while addressing significant market demand, and helps manage a portfolio of transformative climate companies.

Emma’s background is in early-stage operations and strategy. She was a founding team member of CapShift, a startup unlocking the $1 trillion philanthropic market for impact investing. During her tenure, the business grew to mobilize over $100 million into impact investments. Emma also evaluated and developed strategic programmatic directions while at Prime Coalition, an organization focused on sustainable, effective, and scalable solutions to climate change.

Emma holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, where she was an Echols Scholar and graduated Phi Beta Kappa.
